International Program

GDF organizes training courses that explore theories and concepts of biocultural diversity. The courses are complemented by field sessions that focus on methods of applied ethnobiology. When possible, the courses are integrated into the curricula of collaborating universities.

Coordinated by GDF's Executive Director Gary J. Martin, a series of short courses in support of undergraduate, master´s and doctoral programs in diverse disciplines have been hosted by universities in the United States, Europe and Asia. In 2008, courses were held at:
